Committed to being first to deliver the newest technology, Supermicro is showcasing its new Nehalem micro-architecture serverboards and platforms in booth #A14 and the Intel booth and motherboard wall. These demos include two live 2U SuperServers (6026T-NTR+B) based on the next-generation Intel Tylersburg chipset. Powered by the X8DTN+ serverboard, these SuperServers feature 18 DIMM slots for up to 144GB of DDR3 memory and support the full range of Nehalem-EP processors (up to 130-watt) with a super-fast 6.4 GigaTransfer per second (GT/s) QPI bus to substantially boost performance. Enterprise and energy-conscious customers that recognize the cost-saving and performance advantages of 2.5" hard drives are migrating to Supermicro's DP Xeon SuperServers because they offer both superior flexibility and performance-per-watt.
